1. Development and Continuous Improvement of Compliance Program on Personal Information Protection

Kyowa will ensure that our officers and employees respects your privacy and realizes the importance of protecting personal information, and will develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve our Compliance Program on Personal Information Protection (including this Policy and Kyowa’s other relevant policies, rules and regulations) so as to appropriately and adequately protect personal information and data.

2. Compliance with Personal Information Protection Laws and Regulations

Kyowa will comply with applicable personal information protection laws and regulations and other applicable guidelines or principles issued by competent authorities. Further we will have in place adequate management systems for personal information protection that are appropriate to duties and sizes of respective departments and divisions under which we will collect, use and provide any personal information in a proper manner, and take all reasonable measures to disclose, modify, delete or otherwise process any personal information.

3. Accuracy and Security of Personal Information

For the purposes of securing the accuracy and security of personal information, Kyowa will use reasonable efforts to maintain the accuracy and currency of personal information, and take reasonable security measures in relation to both information-communication technologies and corporate governance systems so as to prevent unauthorized access to, unauthorized modification to or disclosure of, and any other loss or damage to personal information.

4. Education and Training

Kyowa will improve the awareness of protection of personal information among our officers and employees, and provide them with education and training for our Compliance Program on Personal Information Protection.
