The surface of transducer-installed segment is smooth and does not disturb soil pressure distribution. Soil pressure transducers in GTI-E210-S series provide a pressure-sensing pad for installation along the curvature of a segment in shield driving applications. Thus, these transducers can accurately measure average soil pressure applied to a wide area of a segment or back-filling.
