Upgrade history EDX-100A

Ver.02.06

  • Changed the processes for not initializing the measuring conditions in the EDX while updating it.

Ver.02.05

  • Changed the processes for not initializing the measuring conditions in the EDX while updating it.

Ver.02.04

  • Minor modification

Ver.02.03

  • Fixed the following bug.
The EDX-100A did not recognize the EMON-20A.

Ver.02.02

  • Fixed the following bug.
The DCS-100A did not update the monitor data depending on the CF card format.
(The target versions are Ver.02.00 or later.)

Ver.02.01

  • Added the custom-made conditioner cards.

Ver.02.00

  • Applicable to EMON-20A
  • Measured CAN data remains after removing the CAN card CAN-40A or CAN-41A.
The bug does not affect DCS-100A operation but affects when using control commands
  • On MES command, when the set sampling frequency exceeds the measuring range, the internal parameters of EDX updated even after responding parameter error.

Ver.01.46

The following bug has been debugged.

  • In rare cases, a CF card in the EDX-100A couldn't be recognized after power-up.
  • When the mode of CVM-41A is set to “Acc.”, TEDS information couldn't be read.
  • In case there are recorded KS2 files in the CF card in EDX-100A, the “Number of digital input CH” does not match the format of KS2 file.
This problem does not occur if the data is saved in a computer. There is no problem when using DAS-200A to load the data.

Ver.01.45

The following bug has been debugged.

  • Hang-up resulted if the “REC/PAUSE” key on the front panel was pressed to start measurement during execution of “Check the device/slot” command (EDX command).
Since the bug was not completely debugged in Version 01.40, so we debugged is again.
  • Modification

  • In “Internal Calibration” for CDV-40B series, CVM-40A, and CVM-41A, the input cables have been included.
So the measuring accuracy can be improved.

Ver.01.44

The following bug has been debugged.

  • Unbalanced data remained after performing balance on cards CDV-44AS, CDA-44AS or CDA-45AS.
This bug occurs when the firmware version of EDX-100A is 01.42 or 01.43
  • Balance became effective after “Mode” of CVM-40A is set to “Acc.” on the “Set CH Condition” window.
  • Balance became ineffective after “Mode” of CVM-41A is set to “Voltage (5V)” on the “Set CH Condition” window.
These bugs occur when the firmware version of EDX-100A is 01.40 or later.

Ver.01.43

    The following failure is corrected:

  • Sensitivity would not normally registered even after performing “Internal Calibration …” to cards DPM-42B or AD-40A on the “Set CH Condition” window.
  • This bug occurs when the version of DCS-100A is 01.42.

Ver.01.41

  • Minor change

Ver.01.40

  • Strain/Voltage/Acceleration measurement card CVM-41A is made applicable.

Ver.01.39

  • Read measurement conditions from CF card or write measurement condition into it is possible even if there is lack of free space.

Ver.01.38

    The following failure is corrected:

  • Trigger measurement in synchronous operation with EDX-200A delayed EDX-100A’s data acquisition by 1 data point.
  • Note: This failure occurred with EDX-200A’s software versions 01.20 to 01.34.
  • Precaution: The control software DCS-100A should be version 04.30 or later.

Ver.01.37

  • Condition where a lack of free space disabled the next measurement was not canceled even though a necessary free space was secured for the next measurement by erasing data from the CF card through the control software.

Note: It is possible to avoid such the failure by reinserting the CF card or restarting the EDX-100A.

Ver.01.33

The following failure is corrected:

  • Recording paused information, voice data, voice data information, and voice data were not saved within the data file when recording was stopped while pausing with manual operation.
    This failure occurs on Ver.01.32

Ver.01.32

【Major modifications】

  • Applicable new models: AD converter cards AD-40AS and AD-40AS-F.

Ver.01.29

【Major modifications】

  • Available new functions: Operating simultaneously with EDX-200A.
Note:
The firmware version 01.16 or later of EDX-200A is required.

Ver.01.27

【Major modifications】

  • Applicable new models: Multi-function input cards CVM-40A which in compliance with CE marking.

Ver.01.26

  • When the CVM-40A was used for reading TEDS, the calibration factor and range were incorrect if the standard template ID was 33, and the max.
excitation level [V] was 5V or more. This problem has been corrected.
  • Character strings representing units in English have been changed (μ→u, °→deg.)

Ver.01.25

  • Now supports CVM-40A.
  • Power off beep sound changed to behave in accordance with the setting (High/Low/Off) for the operation beep sound. (If the operation beep sound is set to Off, no beeps will sound when power is turned off.)
