  • The CTRS-100A stopped monitoring data because the “File No.” or “Repeat times” reached the upper limit while recording data.
  • After the CTRS-100A stopped monitoring data, you have tried to start monitoring data, check connection, collect data files, delete data files, load measuring conditions, or set measuring conditions.
  • (When this trouble occurred, take the following steps.
    Backup the SD card of the CTRS-100A by using your PC.

Fixed the following bug.
When the ZERO value – obtained by using the NTB-500A - was error value (999999) at the start of the monitoring, the DCS-100A did not execute the calibration factor compensation.
(When the bug occurred, the DCS-100A recorded the KS2 file data without executing the calibration factor compensation.)
When the channels on the DCS-100A satisfied the following conditions at the same time, this bug occurred.

  • The "ZERO" on the CH Condition window was "ON."
    (This bug did not occur when the "ZERO" was "OFF" or “NONE.”)
  • The ZERO value was error value at the start of the monitoring.
    (When the ZERO value is error value, “999999” appears as the channel data.)
  • The ZERO balance executed correctly.

To avoid the bug:

After executing the ZERO balance correctly, stop monitoring data once and start monitoring data again. The DCS-100A executes the calibration factor compensation and indicates the correct data.

    When connecting a PC to the EDX-200A under offline data acquisition in progress and clicking the MONITOR or REC/PAUSE button on the onscreen operating panel of DCS-100A, a message “EDX-200A is now recording data. Do you want to stop recording and continue the setting?” was not displayed.
  • UCAM-550A
    In analog trigger mode, a measured value in the trigger channel that reached the preset trigger level did not trigger the UCAM-550A.

■ NTB-500A control

  • When only the “startup trigger” option was selected from the analog trigger measurement condition settings, there were fewer recorded data items than the preset number.
    This problem has been corrected.
  • When the trigger wait mode timed out after a preset period during analog trigger measurement, the number of recorded data items did not match the preset number. This problem has been corrected.
  • The selected “ZERO” option (ON/OFF/NONE) was not properly written into the data file.
    This problem has been corrected.
  • When a data file containing data recorded with the DCS-100A (English) was opened with the DAS-200A (Japanese), units were not properly indicated. This problem has been corrected.
  • The number of digits of data recorded in static measurement did not match the number of digits of numeric data set in CH condition settings.
    This problem has been corrected.
  • The last measurement data was saved on another file (with a file number incremented by 1) during the interval mode of static measurement.
    This problem has been corrected.
  • The number of digits indicating physical quantity in the upper limit check, lower limit check and measurement range, set with the calibration factor operation “ON” in CH condition settings, was indicated, even when “OFF” was selected for this option. This problem has been corrected.
  • The ON/OFF option for the calibration factor operation in CH condition settings was not recorded.
    This problem has been corrected.
  • The unit of data in the data record file did not match the preset number in the CH condition settings when data was used in the arithmetic operation of the DCS-101A. This problem has been corrected.
  • Part of the CH measurement data was displaced when monitoring started.
    This problem has been corrected.

(2) PCD-300 series control

Corrected failure where four arithmetic operations of the option function of the DCS-100A could not be carried out when the measurement mode was external trigger.

Corrected failure where the trigger level figure could not be set correctly when the calibration factor of the trigger CH was a negative value.
Example: The figure was set to 1000 (maximum figure) even if entering 100 for the trigger level figure when the range of the trigger CH was 1Kμε and the calibration factor was -1.

Changes:

(1) UCAM-550A control

Corrected failure where conversion to incorrect figures occurred when selecting 1G120 or 1G350 in the mode entry of the CH condition setting and carrying out file conversion (CSV format, XLS format, RPC III format) after recording in the state of entering apart from 2.0 in the gage factor entry.

(2) DCS-103A FFT analysis

Corrected failure where the sampling frequency occasionally could not be selected up to 10kHz, which is the limit, when conducting FFT analysis. (Occurs on Ver.04.10)
Example: The selectable sampling frequency becomes 1 to 100Hz when the sampling frequency at the time of selecting "conduct FFT analysis" is 100Hz on the option screen of the measurement condition setting, regardless of being able to select up to 10kHz.
Corrected failure where the message of "Sampling Error" was displayed when starting monitoring and monitoring could not be started when the sampling frequency was set to the external clock.

  • Data files beginning with file number 0 are always automatically collected after the completion of measurement when operating with the following procedures. (EDX-100A)
    (1) Start recording by pressing the [REC] button on the EDX-100A.
    (2) Start monitoring by pressing the [MONITOR] button on the DCS-100A.
    Select "No" when the message, "EDX-100A is currently recording. Do you wish to stop recording and set measurement conditions?" appears.
    (3) The DCS-100A is in recording state, so stop by pressing the [STOP] button twice.
    (4) Automatic collection is carried out.
    The data files collected from the EDX-100A always becomes data files beginning with file number 0.
  • MAX/ MIN data was not correctly saved when joining data files collected from the EDX. (EDX-100A, EDX-3000A)
  • The end trigger did not function when setting to end trigger in the analog trigger mode that saves data files to the computer (EDX-3000A)
